Are You Planning Yet?

So, are you planning what you are going to be working on yet?  It's never too early to start doing that, you know!  If you are one who wants to get lots of pages done, you can pick out your paper and everything you need to finish that page and stack it together.  And then gather just the tools you need to work on those.  How efficient!  I saw someone get 60 pages done on those 4 days!  I was SO impressed!

But if you are one who really likes the social aspect of a retreat, you may want to plan and pack a little lighter!  Take some cards or a special project.  At least that way, you will feel like you got something accomplished!

CROP CASH OPPORTUNITY!

Leave a comment and tell what your plans are.  Don't worry, no one is going to hold you to it!  It's just a way to earn $200 in CROP CASH!!  Plus you might motivate someone else!

Have a great Monday!

  3. I actually got my stuff out over the weekend to organize and figure out what I want to do at the retreat. I plan to work on my granddaughter's first year album (she turned one last November and I have 2 pages in her album!:( I also want to get my grandson's 3 year album done since he turned 4 in February! I have so many other things I would like to do but won't have time although while digging through my stuff over the weekend, I managed to get a 2-page LO done!

  4. My plans are to complete some of the "Work Shops On the Go" that I have stacked up in my scrap room. And, to use the cricut and make some pages that I have lifted ideas from other places. Hope to accomplish a lot, but 60 pages would be a real stretch.

  22. Hi Janis!
I have been going through photos to get inspired for what to work on that weekend. WHEW!!!! Digital sure does back up the photos--I have a LOT to choose from. I am hoping to take some time this next month to organize my stash and bring just what I need/want to work on, but like Dana & Keli I'm not going to worry about how much I get done, but rather enjoy my time laughing, scrapping, shopping & eating with friends.

  26. Well, I'd LOVE to get some real work done, but having to fetch and carry for you like I do... sigh... I'll probably just be lucky to get my glue out... sigh....

But if I DID get the chance to do something, I'd like to do one of those Workshops on the Go kids (gotta get it ordered!) and maybe some more on the scrapbook I started in Heit's Point. :D

  32. It sounds like everyone, so far, has a definate plan. I just got back from a retreat, plan to keep most stuff packed until Janis' retreat next month. I didn't get as many pages completed as I had hoped.

I have to print some pictures of a trip to St. Louis with my cousin and may also print our Disney World photos from 2006. I'm a little behind with my scrapbooking.

In case anyone else has to print digital photos, they're on sale until 3/13 at Walgreens for 10 cents if you buy 50 or more.

  36. lol! I don't know if there is a time limit on this blogging...but I thought the scrapbooking of cookbook/recipes was a great idea! My mother is gone, and her handwritten cookbook basically disappeared, but the few that I have in her handwritting I'm thinking that's a terrific idea!
I've had so much happen this past year..I'll probably do a page or two in several different areas. And, hopefully learn how to use my cricut!
